Gee, Keiran Jack cops it from every one of them for being a tightass.

Must be some truth in it...lol

Gary Jack was known to wait for an hour or more before going home on a toll way because one of the toll collectors would let him go through free. Not that I am saying this is fact. It was just reported by his team mates. Looks like the apple is not falling far from the tree....

I reckon it's more likely that Kieran one day, early on in his days at the club, made the mistake of doing something stingy in front of a lot of people. Even if it was only a once off, it would be enough for a nickname, reputation, etc to stick, no matter what he did to lose it! Because I mean really, some of the stuff they say (not paying back money, etc), if real, would be just plain annoying and rude, but if it was made up on the basis of one event ages ago just to annoy him, it would just be a way of ripping on him.

A guy I work with, who is not stingy at all, is always ribbed for being cheap because once about 3 years ago four of us walked into a pub after work and 3 of us pretty much instantly said "I'll get the first round" and he said "I'll grab a table".
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great for Kizza and the fact that every player takes the piss out of him is a good thing.

It's a sure sign is he is a real popular member of the team. If they didn't like him or if the reluctance to hit his kick was really an issue, I highly doubt it would be mentioned ad nauseum in each and every players blog.

              It's all good stuff.

KJ explained in his stint on Henry Playfair's video segement Playing Fair that he used to scrimp when he was a rookie and was on a rookie's salary.

Haha, well who can blame him. Surrounded by colleagues who earn an average of $200,000 a year, him earning what, $30,000? Fair enough I reckon!

Man it's easy to forget how young these boys are. I just read this one:

Jet's Journal - Kicking goals off-field - Official AFL Website of the Sydney Swans Football Club

How could you not want this kid to be a star??! Right after you've given him a big hug and a home-cooked dinner.

                      You are so right Kirkari.

One of Jetstar's earlier blogs/articles told of how the night he made his debut he went to the merchandise stall and asked to buy all the Lewis Jetta badges for his family.

He noted how funny it was for Lewis Jetta to approach the merchandise stall and ask for Lewis Jetta badges ... lol.

                      It tickled me as well.

                        Agreed
My brother and I met him at the Swans family day and both came away saying how shy and overwhelmed he was by the affection he got from supporters.
We also left with the impression we really wanted to hug Kieren Jack
