Lewis Roberts-Thomson primed for battle with Brendan Fevola

Interesting to see if Brown and Fev are willing to chase LRT & Grundy
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

LRT "mercurial"?! Makes a change from lumbering, plodding, awkward etc. Go the Hyphenator!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

      It's a LRT-fest this morning

Roos rev up inspired LRT - AFL - Sportal Australia
Lewis Roberts-Thomson is likely to be given job on Brendan Fevola | The Australian

Interesting comments again about his 2009 performance, although it's very frustrating that they won't tell us exactly what aspects of his game were under such intense scrutiny.

Gangly. That's probably a good word for LRT. He does LOOK uncoordinated.

I don't know why the Oz story says that LRT will look after Fev because LRT says he doesn't know which one he'll get.

I wonder if Roos' revup at 3/4 time against the Saints helped fire him up as well?

Intrigued me too. Lewie says they had a chat as happens with all players, journo says it was a 'rev-up' and 'brutally honest'; perhaps 'rev-up' is a beat-up.

Dimelb, you might have missed it, but there was a story last week where Roos said LRT was on his final chance with the club last season because he wouldn't do what the coaches asked.!!! This story references the "chat" they had but doesn't throw any light. Most of us on RWO thought LRT had a good season last year and are puzzled as to just what it was that so infuriated Roosy. Too much run and carry, not enough mano e mano defensive combat?? Dunno.

He finally acquiesced to Roos's demands and grew the beard.

You're right, I was away for a bit last week and this happened! I agree with most of RWO and I dunno either.

That rarely happens to LRT so no reason to expect it will this weekend.

                        Corrected a preposition.
                        All over Fev.

How is LRT going to cope with FEV's incessant gibberish about women, photo opportunities, binge drinking, his impressions of Brisbane NIGHTLIFE, the Hawkesbury Guineas, the Ipswich Dogs.... won't it get LRT's head spinning and become all confused about where he is?

Nah, LRT shared a locker room with Nicky D so he's heard it all before.

IMO - Grundy on Fev, LRT on Brown. Not so keen on LRT at FB unless against a slower, taller FF.
