    Brown to crush Swans

Brown sorry his mate Bradshaw was booted - but he is still looking to crush the Swans

Is this the biggest con job of the year or will Brown be back in form this week?

He was ineffective last week, most media commentators say he has a groin problem. Watching footage last week, I didn't know that his abdominal strain descended to his groin area.

I have this terrible feeling that he will recover. Perhaps I'm being pessimistic. I do hope we can win this week.

I had it when you get those sort of head colds, you wake up in the morning with a head full of cobwebs thinking "uuurggggghhhhhh, doth I eventh adshaw any medithine?"
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I get the feeling Brown will perform at the extreme this week; either the matchwinner or repeat Melb performance depending on the true effect of the injury. But to be calling quite early in the week suggest he's considered too valuable not to be in the team, regardless of whether he can run full bore.

Yep, that's been odd. Either he's injured or has forgotten how to play footy. Voss denying there's a problem and saying all week that he'll play because there's nothing wrong suggests head in sand. Or maybe it really was just a stomach complaint? It sounds a bit like us saying that B2 was a bit off form and not injured since the start of the season - and look how that ended up.

It is a pretty sad article really.

Maybe time will heal all in regard to the Voss / Bradshaw relationship.

It is tough with a champion like Brown. Was he injured or sick? Did he just have a bad game? It happens, and seemed to happen to the whole team last week. Maybe it is the ealry stages of OP in which case it might just be worse some weeks than others depending on training loads etc. I suppose we will see this round whether a pattern exists (with the performance of Brown, but also with the media statements made by the club).

We should be pretty confident of getting past them - even when fit, Browny has had less influence in games against the Swans than he does against most other clubs (even back to their halcyon days of 01-04), and his new bestie Fev has just been woeful everytime he has set foot on the SCG. Short ground must mess with his internal GPS or something.

Bradshaw has clicked into place beautifully. It is a shame about the bad blood between him and the lions, but they can patch that up in a few years time for all the happy reunions. Until then, if being peeved at em floats Braddy's boat a little higher, then all the better!
