Malceski puts in a big 1%er forcing the turnover as the Lions go forward. Swans rebound and Shaw hits Bradshaw who converts. Swans hit the front 19-14. 4:39 to go 1st qtr.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Braddles 3 from 3. He could be in for a huge night, hopefully!

Jude Bolton with an awkward bump that might draw some attention from the MRP this week.

Bulldog takes a contested mark directly in front and slots it home. Swans 25-14 1min to go in the 1st.

Shaw hits Bolton on the chest who nails it from 50. Swans by 17 with the siren in the 1st looming.

Makes such a difference when you kick straight early in a game

                    Quarter Time - Swans 5.1.31 Lions 2.2.14.

After a slow start by the Swans that saw the Lions kick the first two goals through Brown, the game began to turn. Malceski and Shaw in particular started to get their hands on the ball and give the Swans forward impetus, Bradshaw marked and goaled 3 times.

Seaby an injury worry and looking done for the night, although White is now providing backup in the ruck to Mumford. Jude Bolton may also have an anxious wait for the MRP to sit this week.

Jude Bolton just showed why he has played 230+ tough games. He gets KO'd, comes back on and kicks a 50M goal! Great Stuff!

Bradshaw looking ominous already. Goodes, O'Keefe not doing much yet which is a good sign I think.

Strong contesting from the Swans inside forward 50. Bolton gets a free for a tackle on Brennan and kicks the goal from the pocket. Swans 37-14.

Centre Clearance to the Swans. Goodes with a classy move before hitting Bradshaw on the lead in the right forward pocket. The kick from 45 is across the face, Moore wins a contested ball, gets it to Smith who kicks it from 2m out. Swans by 29.

Bolton had a headclash early but is back on and playing well.

Goodes makes a tackle in the centre square. Jack snaps it up, pushing it forward, ROK finds Haners who kicks it into the pocket where Bradshaw takes a one handed contested mark and then kicks truly from a tight angle. His 4th.

Swans 49-14 17mins to go in the 2nd.
