Fev off the ground AGAIN, but misses this time. Swans by an even 4 goals.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Brown finds Polkinghorne 45m out, 45 degree angle while Ted runs through a little gingerly on the boundary. Polkinghorne converts and Lions back within 18.

A few minutes without a score. Swans just can't find the knockout blow. Under 8 mins to go now.

And as I type that, Moore hits Goodes inside 50. Goodes pushes it across the face from right on 50. Swans by 19.

Swans very sloppy in the last quarter dropping a number of easy marks. Still lead by 19 105-86 with 5 mins left on the clock.

Goodes tries a bit of razzle dazzle but misses from a tight angle. 106-86. 4:26 to go.

Redden misses from in front but under pressure. Swans still not showing any composure under pressure. Probably home now leading by 19, but more because the Lions may just run out of time.

Bradshaw with a snap on the left foot and just misses. Swans still home though up by 20 with 1:15 left on the clock.

Siren. Swans win by 20 - 16.11.107 - 13.9.87. Some great football in patches, but some terrible football as well, and the last quarter was definitely VERY unconvincing. Will need to improve if we're to challenge next week.

Bradshaw a big game against his old team with 6 goals.

I suppose we put that quater down to not having a very fit bench?

We were one short for pretty much the entire game, and that could be the only excuse. We were very poor in the last quarter and made some very simple mistakes that could have been far costlier than they turned out to be.

Once the ground got dewy we started to fumble, but with a couple of players down, as Roos said we were tired at half time. It was a tough bruising match but I thought the last 10 minutes we steadied even though we didn't score a goal.

Mumford was my best. He played a mighty game all night and rucked tirelessly.

Got to hand it to Hannabery who continued to tackle with a dicky shoulder.

Grundy's last quarter was pretty good.

I think Kennedy answered any question marks over him as per the discussion a couple of days ago.

Jessie White? Seaby's injury may save him. He cetainly didn't set the world on fire but did make a contest in the ruck.

                            Bradshaw very good again.
