The whole backline is really going well and deserves more plaudits than what they are getting
Too true AS, we are 2nd last in points against, only St Kilda have less, but then Fridays game helped that

And the Sat night before. They've only conceded 100 points over the last 2 weeks. But they've only scored 93 over the same period.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I thought there was another one, but without looking it up, I wasn't sure.
        Was that against Port?

          People, get off Jets' back.
He has been given a role to play and he's playing it quite well.
Everyone has a job and they're asked to stick to it. He's doing that.
Would love to see the little Ranga in the seniors - he's trying his little heart out - but not at the expense of Jets. He now has five senior games under his belt - five more than a lot of the ressies. I can't see him losing his spot.
Let's see how many pull up healthy this week. There may be a spot.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Collingwood game was also low scoring.

It will be interesting to see how he finds space at Geelong because it hasn't got any genuine wings. It almost has the shape of the Flemington race course. We seem to kick the ball out on the full there a lot more.

Kizza was one of the best - love him.
Kirky, ah well Kirky. the job he did on Black was OutStanding. The two grey haired old men going at it, and Kirky taking the honours on a highly respected and skilled player - again.
That's why he got the plaudits.
                    Don't understand why Kieran didn't.

Loved reading through this thread. I thought LRT did a fantastic job. Of course there was a clanger or two but gee, you can forgive that considering the pressure.
No-one has mentioned the few words that Captain Kirk spoke to the crowd after the game. I can't remember that ever happening in the 15 years I have been going to the games. Or have I just left too early sometimes.

I'm with you Margo, that was terrific. I hope they do that every week.

Kirk's done that before. I can never believe he still has so much energy after the sort of game he plays. I love watching him when he's walking up and down outside the line when he's been rotated. He NEVER stops telling the players on the ground what to do.

Nothing really, just the usual post match stuff.
It was more (to me at least) about how it added to the moment. I was jumping up and down, cheering and singing and then to hear from the cap was like the icing on the cake!

I get it...feeling the love! Was great atmosphere. I don't think I've felt the electricity at the SCG like that in quite a while. The torp took the roof off.
