    Kennedy and McGlynn

They are crying poos and wees over Kennedy and McGlynn at the Big Footy whingeing capital, Crap Jumper Land.

Talk about this mob being in major denial. Melbourne radio is nausiating at the moment. Listening to every man and his dog dissect their woeful form then rationalising it all by sounding as if the light will be switched on and they will sail to the 2010 flag.

I haven't heard one so called expert have the balls to say, "but they are just no good".

We got the trades right, they got it demonstrably wrong. Suffer in your brown and gold jocks.

Got holes everywhere the Hawks. Can't believe how many people rated them pre-season. Can't stand them either so not unhappy to see them struggling.

We've seen what McGlynn can do, but Kennedy is far less obvious.
Seems to fly under the radar, but picks up a bevy of possessions.
Does a lot of the hard work too.

Suffer in your B&G jocks!! I like that Nico.

Kennedy is the natural replacement for Kirk.

Has anyone else noticed how much like his old man Kennedy is. His stance, run, kicking style etc is eerily like John jnr.

Is he? Sure, he's inside but Kirk is a defensive player first and foremost who has willed himself to learn to win important ball himself at stoppages. There is little evidence that Kennedy is being groomed for a predominantly defensive role. I think a comparison with Jude is slightly more apt, though not perfect.

However we look at things, we seem well set for hard ball winners in the years post Kirk and Jude. Kennedy, Bird, Smith, Hannebery all look like genuine in and under ball winners. (They have other strings to their bows too.) Jack and McGlynn are no slouches either. Further down the production line, McNeil is already showing at reserves level he is a clearance machine, and we also have the possibility of Mitchell on the horizon.

Kennedy wins the nasty ball( ie ball bobbing around, players attacking it from every direction etc.. very physical situations) time and time again. IMO he is a fantastic pick up and looks to have a long bright future at the Swans....as does McGlynn

Thank god for people like Clarkson who will let go players like McGlynn, Kennedy and Zac Dawson.

Shock! how could you be so mean to someone in his hour of dispaire....ah well, I am over it, suck eggs Clarko.

About Kennedy, for a big unit he kind of slips under the guard doesn't he. I can see why DST said he is a natural to replace Kirky, he is not afraid to get down and dirty. HOWever.....they are vastly different players, can't see it. He will get on and play his own game and be his own man in this club. He is much b etter than I have given him credit for, yet another slipping under the radar.

We will see how the Geelong game goes. I believe that to be the litmus test.

And, of course I want to see The Gopher popping up again. Sounds like he likes his new name btw.

Is that to try and make up lost ground for your last Barry bookmark?

And anyway, WTF are you talking about?

Kennedy's last quarter against the lions was excellent. Just when we needed it

Yeah, he seems to mention it with a smile every time he's been interviewed whilst out injured. So even though I liked the Mighty Mouse nickname, who am I to argue? And besides, this makes us a team with a rhino, a bulldog, and a gopher in the ranks. I feel like Dr Doolittle.
