The Football Gods have not been kind to us today. Injury-wise, we are at our lowest strength all year and they are at their strongest.

They have the home town advantage of ground, crowd and umpires.

If we get away with anything less than a 5 goal loss, we should consider ourselves lucky.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

Perhaps, but we don't miss the lack of skill or football intelligence.

Pods wouldn't have kicked five on Lewie ....

Bigger question is how ablett can run out of the centre untouched time and time and time again ...

its hard to blame our forward line when the ball hardly went in there and when it did it was via a poor kick.

Jetta similarly is a ball receiver not a ball winner who role is to run with the ball and deliver by foot. Its difficult for him to do that if we arnt winning the contested ball.

We have been smashed in the mid field in the 3rd and that has made everyone look poor

Note to Ted. Ted, the big nuffy Podsiadly kicks with his left foot. So mate, when he wants to turn and kick he's only going to go one way mate.

The announcers' wetting their pants every time Geelong gets the ball is getting awful tarrrrsome as well. Hopefully they'll accompany the umpires on their doomed croc-eaten vacation.

Can someone explain to me the logic behind us not tagging Ablett?

All the skill and football intelligence in the world does not help if you don't have a go - and Bevan always has a go.

I suppose it does not help when 3 of them actually played for Geelong.
