    It's bloody embarrassing to be honest.

    How the hell can you take anything written in that article seriously after such a basic is stuffed up. I mean this is not a typo or anything, this guy seriously believes 53 disposals and 14 marks adds up to 67 possessions.

      No chance whatsoever for a seniors callup anytime soon, still has a lot of growing to do, but his brother is just starting to develop nicely at the Pies and we may have found a real gem here.

        Does anyone know how Jesse White played for ressies? Didn't see him on the score sheet?

            Looked like Jesse's ankle might have been strapped throughout the game, but it wasn't until about the last few minutes of the final quarter that he went off and it was iced. His main role seemed to be rucking, and he usually passed the ball to someone else to kick goals, so I think his ankle may have been bothersome throughout.

              According to a thread dedicated to him on a WCE board, he lacks mobility & endurance...a one trick pony...but as you say he could just be taking longer to develop.

              Has anyone noticed any method this year as to how/why top-up players are picked??

                Sam Reid The Weed, is just that, long tall skinny weed, but even in the past few months he has started to fill....he needs at least a year on the nose bag and in the gym before they would consider him. Other than that, looks to be a keeper.

                I have absolutely no idea RTTF how the toppies are picked. R&WForever? Can you find out for us?

                Thanks for the info on Emery. Had noticed his propensity for not moving far from the goalsquare, but thought that would have been instructions. Another one to follow....list is growing.

                  He has the potential to be quite a big solid guy if he grows into those shoulders. At the moment he looks like a coat hanger on a broom handle.

                    Yeah, I watched him in the preseason intraclub game. He isn't quite there physically yet, and his skills were a bit off (but it may have just been that day), but boy he moves well, and he takes a good grab. He looks like he's got a real sense for the game. Massive potential.

                      I believe this is how it works:
                      - Canberra games. The Canberra clubs, excluding the club that the Swans are playing that week, provide U18 players to the Swans on match day. There have also been special cases, like when Dylan McNeil was used last year, and this year Anthony Miles (who just starred for NSW/ACT Rams at the U18 Champs -
                      U18s: Miles star of NSW/ACT win - AFL.com.au
                      )
                      - Sydney games. Mostly Sydney AFL U18 players - I'm not sure whether the Swans have a say in who they get. There have also been special cases - I do recall Sydney AFL B&F Matt Carey turning out for a couple of games.

                      Emery seems to be a special case. I do not recall the Swans taking down top-up players of their own down to Canberra (excluding scholarship players). So either the Swans must be giving him close consideration for a NSW rookie spot next year, or they're just utilising his bigger size when compared to the usual top-ups
