    Does anyone remember the extra long time the Swans took at Hanners's pick (#30)? That probably meant that they were either really hot on Dayne Beams which Collingwood took at #29 or they had a player (s) fall through that they weren't expecting. How different could things have been if Hanners went to Collingwood (shudder) They also took their time on Campbell Heath at #61.

        Well, Beams has been close to the Pies' best player this year, so other than the gaudy tats I'm sure we could've got used to him.

        I like the comparison to Willo from Lucky Knickers - very apt indeed.

                                                            Magic probably showed glimpses of brilliance at that age, rather than the maturity and allroundedness of Hanners. I suspect Shannon Grant was at a similar level to Hanners at the same age though.
