    Pyke on converting to AFL

Good observations from Pyke - especially re the tank tops and tights.

Great article. I'm really fond of Pyke. I'm glad he is interested enough in AFL to pursue it as a career.

Very thoughtful observations from Pyke, interesting to have the view from someone who has gone where no man has gone before (considering where he started). If he's following his own recommendations, no wonder he's progressing so well.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Pykey does strike you as a man with a plan. I guess he's fortunate that he's a tall and therefore can find a place in the side even without the full skill set. I reckon it's a terrific experiment which demonstrates that you don't have to be locked out of the game just because you didn't start playing as a kid.........

I'd love to see Pykey get comfortable enough to take the ball and have a run and a few bounces. He's exceptionally quick for a big unit, he represented us in the grand final sprint ( he fell over at the start) and there's a clip of him i've seen running in a try against the all blacks and, man, he is bloody quick!

Good article. As I said elsewhere, he is the only one from a similar sporting background to Folau.
