That was a quite outstanding piece of hard work, desperation and footy smarts from such a young kid. In that reserves game that you came up to watch, I noticed (for the first time) his ability to get back into contests he looked well out of and launch himself courageously at a loose, or not so loose, ball.

In that reserves game that you came up to watch, I noticed (for the first time) his ability to get back into contests he looked well out of and launch himself courageously at a loose, or not so loose, ball.

There was an attack on the ball in the 1st q(?), the ball was banged into our F50 and a pack of players went up, for the ball, he came down like a cat, on his feet and flew after the loose ball.
Even though he didn't get it, it was good to watch. Many players would've landed on their arse.
