      ...I can't remember where the ball was when the siren went at the end of the 1st quarter - were we a chance to score, or did the Hawks have the ball? Not that it matters either way.

              I missed the first quarter while trying to get my connection going. Can anyone answer this question, cos I'll be seriously pissed off if we were streaming forward with a goal at our mercy.

                  just checked on the afl game analyser and the siren went just after jetta scored a behind, hawthorn kicked it in to a hawthorn player, siren went. So yes, if that players next kick went to a contest and we gained posession, we could have scored a goal (as long as jetta or goodes didnt have a shot!)

                          It may have been a bit more controversial if it had been the second quarter because, if I remember correctly, Henry was about to mark in the pocket but the siren just beat him.
