It was a gallery of dodgy HTB decisions, but that Kizza one certainly took the award.

Great to have Goodes playing well.

Not a bad performer anywhere tonight. Great win and in a much better position to take on the mugpies than we were 3 weeks ago.

Did anyone notice the footage at the end of the game when the players were running out to fans in various positions on the ground, Rooster ran up to Tagdh and did his impersonation of an Irish jig, with wobbly head. Looked very funny.

Good win. Goodes and Melcho in top form.

We have it over the Power the way the Pies have it over us.

We're now 7-5 and a game clear in the 8.

Looks like Rohan got into the middle of the huddle this week.

Well he'll be hard to drop after that performance. It's hard to get into the team at the moment but good performances need to be rewarded. 9 marks was as much as ROK and Goodes which shows he was finding space and playing his role very well.

Geez there's something fabulously erotic about our boys singing the victory song with so much gusto. Ooh yea!
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

                  Awesome win!

How bad was the umpriring!! They were the only thing keeping Port in the game during the 3rd qtr.

Very happy Goodes and ROK are getting some form back. When they play well, we are hard to beat.

                      LOL

A bit workmanlike apart from the 2nd quarter but as Bas said, there wasn't a bad player amongst the team tonight. I don't envy the coaching staff trying to fit Bradshaw and RhyceShaw back into that side. Bevan is probably first on the chopping block but he was very sound on Motlop this evening. Good luck picking someone else to drop out...

So you think Jessie White played well?

For Pies, would have to be:

                          Out: Bevan, Rohan (rest)

                          In: Shaw, Bradshaw (if fit)

I didn't think he played poorly. He has had games with more impact but he presented well, contested well at ground level and applied far more pressure than he was earlier in the season. Could have marked a couple of balls he dropped but certainly wouldn't be slating him for the work he put in.

What I got out of this game tonight was the fact that the new team is emerging and it is solid. On the whole you can see the gelling taking place, the connectivity. It is very satisfying to see that they trust each other, work as a unit even when being hammered by inconsisten one eyed yobbo umps who don't give Mumms a free when pushed in the back while attacking his head, and that the kids are taking leadership roles naturally.

As for Smiffy, I seem to remember similar thoughts with the emerging Kirky. I knew he would be good, but .... dammmnn!!!!
