For not the first time this year, Jesse got robbed of a goal by about 1 sec.

Got a feeling it was the Crows game. If so, I'd say he aint a fan of the AAMI siren.

I thought only White was average tonight, and I have to admit I thought Vesz was pretty average, but seems to be getting some kudos? Will have to watch the replay to see if I was being harsh, but I thought he was pretty ineffective.

Overall great team performance, lucky to get away with an average third term, but 7-5 at the break, two away wins at AAMI in one year, so much for rebuilding Richmond style!

Malceski was in the mood tonight, great to see. Also thought Rohan continued his impressive form (except for that jig with Tadgh after the siren).

        Great team performance!!!

I think White has been told to provide a contest and bring it to ground, I'm sure we ended up with a couple of goals from doing just that.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Gee I thought he was terrible. Not because he didn't try hard, but because he was a useless full forward.

Not that stats mean much, but they certainly back me up. 1 mark, 1 tackle, 0 goals. Not sure how you can suggest he didn't have an off night.

I love Jessie, but was very disappointed with him tonight.

White's problem is that he can't hold his marks. Bit of a problem as a key forward.

Yeah my thoughts the same, thought Cornes killed him tonight and it wasn't as if Cornes was a star either.

I enjoyed the win but NOT that much. Gusto is very erotic. Must be a female thing.........

Although we lost to top 8 teams, we have been shattered by injuries and as the players come back, who knows. Although Geelong is a tad in front.

Need to watch the game again without sound so that I can see who actually got kicks and handballs.
Is Mike Pyke No. 39 ? - They did not want to correct themselves in the last qtr when Reg followed up with a very nice run out wide and mark ... very frustrating listening to commentators who do not know the players - not very professional. Sounded more as if Pickers was trying to sign up a few of the Port Players.

Solid effort by Team Swans - loved the speed of the handball, quickest among the whole playing group this year I reckon. Hanners is a bit too ferocious for his own good, take care of your young body kiddo, u r going super. Mumford is terrific very hard at it. I like the way Goodesy runs when he's playing well, he seems to have a pogo stick in each leg. Swans stood up when Port came at them in 3rd.
Nup, don't like keepings off, why not take the risk to bang another couple home.
Great finish to the first half of 2010. Couldn't ask for a lot more.

He hasn't held a heap, but I don't think it's helped by the delivery into the forward line. He might not be sticking his contested marks, but I don't recall him getting too many uncontested chances. If he is playing FF and being held to the standard of a FF then I'd expect him to be the target for a fair few uncontested chances each game.

I didn't see the game, had to rely on SENile, but I wonder how much Jesse's performance was affected by the absence of Playfair? Henry may not be a wonderful player in his own right, but I think he is structurally important, and if he is out for the Magpies and Bradsore is back, JW may benefit in a similar way.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
