Go Alex. What a struggle, and what perseverance.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I remember this lad. Oh good, he is still fighting for a chance, looks like he will get it. We will have to look after him.

His story was covered on RWO over a year ago now. He was pinched from under the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs noses.

He really is on a mission of dedication for his late brother.

Still a few more years to develop but no doubt will play for the Swans one day.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Ha ha, I was surprised to see that I started that thread originally.

Although I have had a slight journey to hell and back between then and now.

Fantastic story and good luck to him. I hope he gets to realise his dream in red and white.

As for the bloke who sledged his brother, after he has served his time for the racial abuse someone should send him back to school for his appalling tautology.

The next Sanford Wheeler, the next Tadhg Kennelly, the next Mike Pyke, the next Wayne Schwass etc... in 20 years I'd love to see the naming of the Swans International Team of the Century (must be born over seas) and Indigenous Team of the Century.

Anyone care to start team selections (or nominating players)?

Daryn Cresswell was from Tasmania - does that count?
