    Jack disposal skills

For some time I have been concerned with the disposal skills of Jack. Not all his kicks mind you. It is the one where he seems to kick 20-30 metre dinky little passes that never seem to find a target and put the lead-up player under pressure as they fall short. He is not penetrating enough for my liking causing turnovers. Needs to work on that if he wants to become a better player,

He has watched Barry Hall do the same thing for 10 years.

And I agree with you. Love Kizza's work, but those short passes which continually land at the recipients feet are definately a weakness.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

Someone needs to tell him to kick it AT the player not to the player. thats why they always fall short.

It's an aspect of his game that I think has improved since last year, but he's still hit and miss. He's capable of some lovely passes by foot, but he doesn't always kick through it. Bird has a similar problem.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!
