He'd be a great addition, imagine twin Jet engines in the Swans side 2011!

Outside mids with pace will be the likely priority and then another young KP defender to develop as well.

We have some good solid insiders in Hannaberry and Bird going forward.

Does Jack's contract expire at the end of this season?

That's fine, we should get rid of him as he's hardly ripping up the reserves and he's not a kid any more.

We need to play more kids!! He's clearly holding back the development of a Vez or MOD or LJ!

You can take a leaf out of ugg's book and develop another pro forma.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I don't understand why they extended the trade period for this year. Every year everyone complains that nothing happens for the first 3 1/2 days of a 5 day trade period.

So this year, they throw in a weekend before the 2 pm cut off.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

This year and nexts with the new teams will be different.

Clubs are going to be much more open to trade like for like or try and trade down the order to pick up what is left of the talent after GC17 and GWS.

We saw more trading action last year and that was just a taste of what is coming.

Well, in theory at any rate. Whether or not that actually happens we won't know until Trade Week ends.

Whilst a lot of the deals are formally done in the last 24 hours of the trade period, most of these are sorted through and ok'd by the player involved earlier in the week, there is a lot of to?ng and fro?ng to get deals through.

I suspect the extra time is because GC17 will be trying to trade high draft choices for some really good players or established clubs will be testing the water to see who they have to give up to get a high pick or two from GC17.

So GC17 will be the busiest club at trade week and it's in everyones interest that they get it right.
