Swans/Interstate teams unfairly treated by AFL leaders

I am disgusted to hear Collingwood have 7 home games in a row - the last 7 games at the MCG.Where is there any fair competition for us. Collingwood usually get 17/18 games in Vic. Mr Demetriou try explaining a fair and equal AFL competition to NRL state NSW. You have lost supporters before you even start. The treatment of the power hungry Collingwood club and the damn advantage you give them Mr Demetriou is typical of how the smaller interstate clubs fair against Victorian teams in General. Proof is so obvious in the way Barry Hall now gets treated and even looked after because he is playing for a victorian team. We guessed it would happen and it is happening.
Well it will be Collingwood versus another Vic team again this year Grang Final - loaded up and put there as Collingwood being a definite when you play so many games on your home turf. They make heaps of money because they get the unfair advantage of blockbuster games of money advantage because they are damn Collingwood.
NSW will not take to this at all. You have lost ground with this unfair competition now running in Australia. Not national also because you cannot bring in a team from Tasmania. Stupid move AFL.
    Love those Swans

The facts are that there are 10 Vicgtorian teams, so every one of them is going to play more games in Vicrtoria than any where else. 11 home games and probably 5-6 away games in Victoria would seem to be about fair.

The other point is that there are a number of teams in Melbourne who have the MCG as their home ground, so, many of those games played by Collingwood will be at the "G".

      AFL.
Collingwood are a special case, look at tonight, 38000 against the 15th placed West Coast at Etihad, no one else can do that. Their drawing power means that many clubs, including us, request home games against them (the AFL look after Sydney, Brisbane, Bulldogs, Melbourne and Kangaroos by guaranteeing home games against them every year)

Explaning the AFL to the NRL state NSW? Explain that the AFL has a team or teams in every state except for Tasmania, which is an AFL state anyway.... Or does National only apply when dominated by NSW and QLD, with token sides in Melbourne and NZ? AFL rationalised grounds in the early 90s, and as stated already, most Melbourne clubs play a ridiculous number of games at the MCG and Etihad, just as Sydney NRL teams travel far less than the 3 QLD NRL teams.

Should be noted that the min number of games that Collingwood would ever play in Melbourne is 16 games, and that would involve them playing every interstate side away which all other Melbourne Clubs who baulk at as they ALL request home games against them.

Collingwood have always had this type of draw, it didn't stop Non Victorian teams winning every GF from 2001 to 2006 (including two GF losses for the pies).

Even North Melbourne, who draw woeful crowds, have 15 games between Etihad and the MCG, plus a game at Skilled Stadium.

Don't get me wrong, I despise them, but Collingwood are a powerhouse and deserve big games at the MCG because they can fill it.

What's even more unfair is every year, EVERY YEAR, they give the Pies 2 byes in the middle of the season. They even give them 4 competition points for the bye in the second week.

          Disgusting.

LOL Even worse, the AFL allocate that 2nd bye with four points as our home game.

You trolling, mac? This argument is tired and untrue. 9 Melbourne teams means that every Melbourne side can play a maximum of 7 games outside Melbourne - including the trip to Geelong. To suggest that every Melbourne team try that is ridiculous.
