Ah the old card table on the half-way line*! I guess he'll be borrowing it from Roy & HG's rugby league State of Origin calls on Triple J

    *"centre wing"

I can't imagine seeing Antony Green away from his laptop. I wonder if he brings it to Swans games to run analysis on our effective possession % during the games.

      That's some nice research top40!

Just offered my services to one of the candidates, but will need to make sure I drag myself away well before kick-off!

[QUOTE=ugg;497301]He missed a Swans game for the Fremantle by-election in 2009. Can't see him missing the big one.

what , the game or the election?

They say elections are won or lost on the result of the seat of Eden Monaro - not so this time - it will be based on the result of the Swans V Western Bulldogs at the SCG, you mark my words!!!

Maybe Laurie Oaks & the attractive Michelle Grattan can be celebrity goal umpires???,Barry Cassidy, Mark Riley and Peter Harvey(Canbraaaaaaaaaaaaa) as the field umps & Bronywn Bishop & Cheryl Kernot as boundary umps.
Of course there needs to be a boundary rider - a person who is firm, a person who is never lost for words and can deliver a good spray at the field officials if required and without hesitation - then that person is Sam Kekovich!!! (you know it makes sense!)

This would be an election night that I could get excited about.

Tony SHOULD go for the Swans, but given his lack of good judgement in every other aspect, it seems unlikely.

            He's probably a Carlton supporter.

I would've thought the Saints would fit his lapsed Cathoilic persona a little better.
