Loved it, about time the marketing department started to realise what a story this is turning out to be for big Pykey.

Absolutely amazing to see where he is at in just one and a half short years.

I hope he sticks it out and we give him a contract extension, because he could be anything in two years time based on the improvement he has shown so far.

Remember they're advertising to attract those who wouldn't normally bother. Pykey has a lovely mug. Our players all look focussed and handsome and Geelong look like unwashed barbarians. I like it.

I hope Goodes brings the Chux to wipe Cam's tears away after we beat them. That moment is one of my favourites from 2005 - that and Micky O's hit on Nicky D seconds earlier "I think it was the only tackle he laid all day" Nick was later quoted as saying.

Pyke spoke at the Melbourne AM and I think hardly anyone could understand him, the Canadian accent remains thick. But he told a funny story when Stubbsie asked him how come his marks are now sticking?

A few weeks ago Stewart Maxfield told him he needs to wears gloves. He told Stewie that, as a Canadian male, that just wasn't going to happen.

Stewie disappeared and came back with a photo of Roos wearing two gloves in a game and Myke replied "well . . . maybe I could give them a try."

These ads have a certain dark appeal about them, don't they? The ad for the Collingwood game was just as good - especially the way it ended with Malthouse slamming down his headphones in disgust. Such a pity we couldn't live up to it on the field back then. Let's hope Round 18 will be different.
