Interchanges to be limited

It's looking very likely that interchanges are going to be limited next year, the number suggested is 80 per match.

This means that players with stamina will become more valuable and more effective as the game will slow a little as it wears on and burst players will get more tired.

This will put a more of a premium on those players who have big engines but don't necessarily have top speed whereas in recent years, due to the ability to interchange frequently, it has been the other way round.

I think we are well placed if the new rule does come in and maybe that's one of the reasons why Gordon has been promoted.

Consensus seems to be building towards a change back to 3 Interchange players but with 1 Substitue to cover injuries instead of a cap, which will have a less drastic effect. Should allow 100-120 changes a game.
