I give you Mr Keiren Jack!

This bloke deserves his own thread.

He did some things out there yesterday I have not seen before, tackle, roll, handball delivery......catalyst for so much of our forward movement.

Fearce little sod, isn't he! So proud of him.

He's been good all year and super over the past few weeks.

I do hope he watches himself though. He laid another strong bump yesterday on a Docker low to the ground - I think it was Hadyn. I don't think he made head high contact but he wouldn't have known because, as with last week, he did it with his back turned to the player. There was nothing malicious about it, was a genuine attempt to protect a team mate with the ball, and 5 years ago it would just have been part and parcel of the game. But not any more.

Gotta love the way he goes about it. Loved the game yesterday and liked what plenty of players offered, but IMO he was a standout. With Kirky and Roosy going it's good to know that there are people like this to take over the bloods mantle and put their own stamp on it.

I just wish he would kick it to someone from OUR team a little more often.

I thought he was fantastic and was BOG.

Earlier in the week, someone compared the way he moves to Ablett. I must agree with this, the way he spins out of traffic and shrugs tackles is exceptional.

            Brilliant!!!!!

How good did we look streaming out of defence with speed and moving into Fwd50 time and time again.

Tagging duties taken off this year and Kieran has taken off, particularly in the past few weeks. Looking every bit an A Grade midfielder of the future.

Looks like we may have found a new tagger too in Shaw, well done to Rhyce on playing his new role very well.

And ROK too, re-deployed as a 'hurt you going the other way' type of tagger. There's a certain irony to seeing the older guys get the stopping roles, and giving youngsters like Jack, Hannebery, Jetta licence to be creative.

But back on topic, love Kieran -- big time! So too does KB on SEN, who never misses an opportunity to sing his praises
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

He's a home grown boy via the rookie list. Now that is the best news of the story.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

A Freo supporter on Bigfooty (I know, I know! ) described him as "a feisty little @@@@@ who's always trying to rip the ball out of packs when everybody else thinks it's dead". I think he meant it as a compliment, the description was so apt!

Brilliant game yesterday, he just keeps getting better and better.

It has been brilliant watching him develop. I did not initially think that he could get to the heights that he has now reached (obviously it is still early days in terms of his career, so fingers crossed it will continue on its upward course), and thought perhaps that he could just be a useful player who had a red-hot-go each week, but he has been fantastic with his clearance work and hard running and has shown that he could be a real star for the Swans.

Plus he is exciting to watch play - Go Swans!

Let's make sure we get his younger brother wrapped up for a Swans gig. That may have to be done via the Academy.
