Currie or Reid next week?

Roos says it's likely to be White. No mention of LRT, only ROK and Moore returning, so get ready for a midget forward line.
More worryingly, Mummy is in doubt for week 1 of the finals.

Reid's chances of a debut just went up. I'd still be putting my money on ROK lining up at CHF, TDL FF.Roos says it's likely to be White. No mention of LRT, only ROK and Moore returning, so get ready for a midget forward line.

Jonathon Brown will carve up most players..the trick is to deny him supply which our new dynamic midfield could well do. Here's a radical idea just for the Brisbane game. Let Reg wander into the forwards to FF similar to what the Dogs do with Lake. When he does this Pyke drops back to cover Brown and handle any rucking that comes that way. I know one to one Brown will give Pyke a bath but strengthwise it would be pretty even and speed wise Pyke would win.Goodsey covers the forward ruck or have Teddy /Currie..Only do this for 5-10 minute bursts anyway to give Vossey and the coaching staff maximum headaches! If it doesn't work drop it but Reg at FF would be a total surprise for the Lions and he could nail a few before they wake up.Comment

Can't see it myself. I think if it was just a one week affair, Reid might well debut. But since Mummy is in doubt for the following week, they would want to develop a set-up that they may have to use in week 1 of the finals. I can't see them throwing Reid, who is still only 18 after all, into the intensity of a finals match. Ideally, they would get Bradshaw back which would lessen any structural concerns in the forward line.Comment

But with Braddy and LRT supposedly coming back first week of finals, Reid could come in for the Brisbane game, get a taste, and then make way for LRT/Bradshaw.Can't see it myself. Yep, White to ruck, Moore and ROK to return, Braddie to play seconds.
BTW Roos is right to sound the warning bell on this game. With JB up and running, beating Lions at the Gabba will be tough.
