Yeah, father is Neville Miller, played for us in the early 70's. I remember when Miller got drafted by the Demons reading that had they not changed the FS rules Sydney could have claimed him, but I don't know about that cos Nev only played around 30 games.Comment

To be fair, his knee injury was described as the sort of thing you see in a horrific car accident. I remember watching the match when it occurred and as someone who loves violence, even I found it horrible to watch.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

I got tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop, so here goes:
There was a young Crow named Trent Hentschel
Who never quite reached his potential.
He trained 'til he strained,
Many kilos he gained,
But knees are a major essential. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Can add Lockyer and Medhurst to the list as well based on comments Malthouse made on On The Couch - haven't found any reports online to confirm though.

Presti has a contract offer, so it's up to him. With Medhurst and Lockyer they've had conversations with Malthouse - Medhurst said he had other things he wanted to do, and Lockyer asked Malthouse's opinion which means he's already checked out mentally.

Confirmed in here.
Collingwood's Josh Fraser's future will become clearer later in the week.
Essendon, given its interest in Hale, could be a possibility.
