    Nathan Djerrkura

Nathan Djerrkura has told geelong that he wants to leave for more opportunity after 4 years on their list. He has played 4 games since being drafted as an U18 all Australian from NT.

Personally i havnt seen him play but from his profile he is a quick small forward/midfielder who chases and tackled hard.

Seems lie he is exactly the type of player that we need to bolster our forward line and midfiled

I would happily give up our second pick in the draft for him, likely to 38 if we finish 5th

    What do people think?

A pick 30-40 is a bit much. Prismall went to the Don's for about that, and he'd shown much more.

I dunno, we've got a fair few small forwards now haven't we? Jetta, TDL, Moore, McGllyn..

He might be alright but he isn't a small forward

Mods might want to start a trade rumours thread cos if its business as usual there are going to be a million threads started over every other teams cast offs over the next couple of months. I'm suprised there hasn't been one for Brad Miller yet

My youngest daughter's ex-boyfriend went to school with Nathan in Gove. How's that for a connection between someone who lives in Tassie and a boy from Arnhem Land that plays for Geelong. Last Christmas the ex boyfriend said Nathan was really happy at Geelong and really liked being with champions such as Gazza and didn't want to go to a weaker team...how things change.
Wonder if both Nathan and Gazza will be playing at the Suns

Nah. I mean, if he falls into our lap, great, but I wouldn't want us to give up too much. I really don't think he is the type we need. He's not a small forward, he's an inside midfielder and fierce tackler with meh disposal. While he's quicker than all of our inside mids bar Jack, it's still not a position we are desperate to fill. He'd struggle to get a game with us almost as much as Geelong.

I would be keeping tabs on that Eric Rangawada (what ever his name is).

I know Geelong have been very impressed so far, but he may want to move on for more opportunities as well and is exactly the type of player we would be looking for in an outside mid with pace and good disposal skills.

I think we should concentrate un keeping and devleoping the talent we have on our list. I cant see the swans doing much at trade week, maybe offloading some duds for some picks but thats about it
