Elimination Final v Carlton - Including Teams

I hope we don't play Mummy if he's not close to 100%. We have a reasonable chance of getting through, and if we do we'll need him. Pyke and White can handle the centre bounce. Reid is the hard one; I agree it's a pity he didn't debut before last week, but (1) he obviously knows what he is doing, (2) he is flexible enough to be back, forward or do the odd ruck around the ground, and (3) if he is going to get some finals experience, this is the match to do it.He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. Former Reserves coach Brett Allison's preview:
Beware the strangle - AFL.com.au
He plumps for Reid, but doesn't think his former colleagues will go that way.Comment

A year away from a club is a long time isn't it....
...FFS, he's almost first man picked, hardly a good chance to hold his place.Young Nick Smith is a really good chance to hold his place in the side this week
I thought the whole notion of us as a dour strangling side is also not quite on the money now. A bit disappointed in that article to be honest.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

So much for Carlton's three speedsters being the key to victory. They must be worried about the wet weather to leave Yarran out.
Same logic with Moore I suppose - tougher body. Though I seem to remember Rohan playing a great game in the wet this year.Last edited by JudesaGun; 3 September 2010, 05:27 PM.Sanford Wheeler 4 President!Comment
