Finals Predictor = Swans v Pies GF?!?!?

Having had a play with the Finals Predictor here
    Bailey Ladder & Finals Predictor - AFL.com.au
I'm thinking that if we can get through to the GF, having managed to beat the Cats in a Prelim Final, we will be playing the Pies for the flag.

Here is the picture as I see it.

    Qualifing and Elimination Finals

    1. Collingwood W
    4. Footscray L

    5. Sydney W
    8. Carlton L

    6. Fremantle L
    7. Hawthorn W

    2. Geelong W
    3. St Kilda L

    Semi Finals

    Footscray L
    Sydney W

    Hawthorn L
    St Kilda W

    Preliminary Finals

    Collingwood W
    St Kilda L

    Sydney W
    Geelong L

    Grand Final

Can you please just re-adjust to have the Saints knocking out the Pies in the PF?

That Preliminary win over Geelong looks a tad optimistic given our record against them for the last few years.

I agree it is a tall order. I feel that game would be tougher to win than a GF against the Pies or the Aints.
If we can get past Cartlon we shouldn't have much difficulty in beating a weakened Bulldogs side, just need to keep the finals momentum rolling into the Geelong game.

Id be happy to win this week then anything else would be a bonus. The team has achieved far beyond what I expected this year considering all the injuries.

Win or lose this week I think it's been an amazing season.

True! True!, but I'd rather win this week. Regardless, the aim for 2011 HAS to top 4 now!!

Certainly plenty of ups and downs, lets hope it finishes on a high note. GO Swannies.

I think it has been an excellent season considering the turnover of players at the end of last season and the bunch of new guys into the club and the substantial injuries we have had at times. I am very happy for us to be playing finals footy and I would rate the season a success even if we lost this week, but it would be fabulous to get a couple of finals into the young guys. I really do think we can beat Carlton though and give the Doggies a run for their money.
Gee thinking about it all has me excited for what these boys can achieve in the near future. We should aim to be knocking on the door for the top 4 from next year, and if we can fill the list with a little bit more quality depth (perhaps through recruitment, perhaps through vast improvement of some of our younger players) than we might just be genuine challengers for the flag sooner rather than later.

Me too. I already collected on the Swans to make the finals at $3, having gotten on them at the start of the season. This is definitely a bonus!
