If at first you don't succeed, keep practising!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

        They're not white.
They've got "stripes" on them that change colour from purple to green. They're H.O.T.

I spoke to him about his "dockers" boots, he couldn't get the ones that change colour in red & white.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I'll have to have a closer look.

So Annie, you're saying they are like those real expensive paint jobs you can get on your car where it looks green from one angle and purple from another??

I think he should go back to the lime green boots. They were awesome.

Exactly like that. I'm sure there's a word for it, but I don't know what it is.
              They're on fire!!!

"Pearl" is the word you are looking for. Some good quality auto finishes actually have ground pearl shell mixed into the paint. Very late '80s/early '90s. Not so common now. I'm OK with it on Jet's boots though.

How was the crazy pass from Goodes to "nobody" in the pocket, followed by the brilliant centre from Lewie to Josh for a goal? A set play do you think or another sign from the gods?

There was another play from our kick out which looked like a set play that I hadn't seen before which worked a treat.

I am trying to imagine how things will go the day Uncle Byron gets a game in the firsts. Will they be a double act? Promises to be lots of fun.
