Except for the umms, it was a well presented and balanced acceptance speach, and if the rest of the AFL were wondering why Hanners! well, I think the content of his speach would explain a lot. Noone left out, lots of specific thanks, affection, depreciation, acknowledgement of close family by name, the coaches, the team. It said a lot about his self assurance and mental maturity.
