    The Jesse White Vent thread

I have decided to make this because I am sick of hearing all the Jesse White hate that happens on this board for no real reason. So if you have something bad to say about him do it here, that way i dont have to see it on every board unneccesarily and can easily avoid it.

Good for y ou Scolsey. I was about to give you heaps. No need.

Go ahead people, and then it can be removed for being inappropriate and irrelevant.

Richo was singing his praise yesterday for the way he was contesting and setting up goals for the little fells. Well done Jesse.

I thought he was pretty useless yesterday.
Not sure what his role is, but as a key forward he needs to be taking a lot more contested marks than he did yesterday.

Got some critical touches in the last qr (Including a fabulous contested mark) - this week is not the week to be bagging him.

Compare him and Henderson, similar situation age, experience in the forward line. Lochie was dropping the sitters...

got some important touches in the last qtr............but for me to often he is flat footed and at times doesn't lead when he should. He also needs to learn how to use that frame of his. But in fairness to him he is still a project player and still learning the game. He needs to watch countless hours of how hard brown works when he hasn't got the ball, I'm sure Bradshaw has been spending time with him also. I suspect we wont see his best for a few more years yet. Hopefully he still has plenty of more upside left in him

His role is to bring the ball to ground so blokes like Jetta TDL etc can kick the goals. If he kicks some, it's a bonus.

Doesn't seem to be a natural forward like TDL but his touches and contests were important all day. His mark in the final few minutes/seconds (ala Freo game) was crucial to us holding on to the lead!

                        No venting from me.

He was directly responsible for the clever handballs to Jetta for his goal, TDL for the goal where he ran into the open goal in the 4th qtr and handballed to ROK for the winning goal (although I suspect he may have actually dropped it). Clearly earnt his pay yesterday, imo.

Clearly that happened, a few times.
But too many times one on one he was easily outplayed.

Just the nine touches and a goal but some of his bustling and bodywork was important deep in the Swans? forward 50. Paved the way for a couple of goals.
