Club Song

OK, so what is the consensus on standing/sitting singing etiquette? I always stand up for the first verse, but often sit down for the second go round (after the much loved banjo). This is at the start of the game, naturally. It's all standing for as long as they keep playing the song at the end!

I'm superstitious and won't sing the song before the end of the game. I have this horrblw feeling if I sing it before the game that we will lose.

You aren't the only one. To sing it before the end is hubris and inviting the wrath from above. As bad as Joffa putting the jacket on too soon.

Must be a girl thing Lucky cause I'm exactly the same. On a couple of occasions I've been caught out off at the shop or toilet or something and my heart fills with dread cause I 'm certain I've jinxed them!

Mind you Benny's thighs are worth singing about; oh bugger it, lets just sing whatever words we want to just not before the game starts, as we may jinx everything, make sure you have your lucky ring, scarf, knickers, left boot on first, throw up in the race, moments and make SURE you are in your seat prior to start of game (I think I would doie if I wasn't in my seat), start a whooooaaaaah! at the first bounce, finishing off with air banjo. Sorted?
