He had a big part in us winning a flag I will never forget that. He was a champion for us and I hope he goes out being remebered for his football.
But tonight Barry you are the enemy and its war

Ugh. What a sook. Has he thought maybe some of the supporters are still angry with him? He ruined everything with his stupid fists. He's got no one to blame but himself. That aticle really pissed me off.

Well well well...Big Bad Barry Hall...

I must admit I was very sorry to see him go and certainly never booed him a few weeks back. He will always be a premiership captain of our club. HOWEVER, after reading that article this morning my admiration and enthusiasm for the man has dropped a lot!

There will always be supporters that boo...that is sport...however, to tarnish the majority of supporters like that is pretty low.
        Swannies for life!

There will always be a few that spoil it for everyone no matter what aspect of life you look at. Calling Barry Hall a traitor is a bit stiff though. He will always be a Swans premiership captain and would probably be welcomed back to the club after he retires. If the Bulldogs play in Sydney next year, he'll probably get even more abuse after the article.

Seems like he had the last laugh tonight. I knew it would come back to bite us one day.

why is GS14's comment ridiculous -when you are calling BBBH a pshyco ? Can you prove that he is, do you have the medical evidence to back that up? He isnt a pshyco and I agree that why should he be every other mans punching bag - they could do what ever they liked to him, and constantly, the howls of protest from the Swans faithful in the crowd agreed with the non payment of free kicks too him, yet if he retaliated it would seem to some (the media in particular) to be the end of the bloody world. Would you honestly just stand there take the @@@@ that he has copped over the years? didnt think so.

Anyway - the article has been written & read, they won, we lost - move on to 2011.

Boo hoo Barry. He needs to grow up if he can't take a bit of stick. He might have had the last laugh last night, but he isn't going to win a flag with the Dogs, and he left the Swans on a sour note because of his own stupidity.

He had resigned from AFL. He wasn't being shopped. As I understand he was approached, or at least his manager approached the dogs and an agreement was made after he had been out for a few months and had his head back in place and realised that he hadn't finished this gig yet and wanted to go on again. The fact that Willo is an assistant would have helped; they are cronies anyway.

So we got nothing, but that's ok. Win win. We were released from tension. He was released to work out where he was at. the dogs got a good player. We got peace of mind.

I'm glad I'm not on your debating team.

Hall kicked 4 goals, we lost by 5 points. It's not rocket science to see that he got them over the line and ended our season. It bit us in the bum this year, hopefully it won't again.

BTW I'd be interested to see what goals you claim were given to him. None that I saw.

I agree with this, and it's ground we have well and truly covered.
The article? Stupid heading, way over the top, as if it came out of one of Rupert's rags. Baz's response also over the top. And no, I don't believe he should be anyone's punching bag.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He might be a bit heartbroken next Saturday night when the Saints thrash them in the preliminary final.
