Cats, then very closely either Saints or Dogs, then daylight, then moonlight, and anything else you can cram in there, then the dreaded Pies... The thought of living in Melbourne with those horrid toothless fans sqwaking for the next 12 months that they're the premiers is just unbearable! :O

I hope my Grand Final BBQ is awesome. Couldn't give a toss who plays in the game, let alone wins.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Geelong are so arrogant I can't stand them. I want the Saints to win it.

But their fans are the most arrogant in the AFL.

I don't want the Saints or Dogs to win it, because they've only won one and as far as I consider it that's fine. St Kilda, with 26 wooden spoons, 5 GF appearances and one flag is the flower girl of the competition: always seen but no one cares apart from occassionally saying "oh how pretty". The Bulldogs can't win a flag while Rocket is coaching because he is Brian Smith's alter ego (great success as a coash in H/A, but rubbish when it counts), and I don't want Hall to drink from the cup again. Same goes for one Mrs D. Jolly, which coupled with a deep loathing for all things Collingwood means the only thing better then seeing them thrown out of the contest is if it is by the barest margin. Geelong are a good side, and while I'm not looking forward to every Victorian (bar Royboys) calling them the best team of the decade (which ended last year, but that's another discussion) they are the best of a bad bunch in the top 4.

            My dream:
            Geelong v Collingwood:
A Pie, preferably Cloke or Davis, fluffs a dead-set certainty after the siren. Geelong through by 4 points or less.

            Bulldogs v St Kilda:
St Kilda blow the dogs off the park, renewing criticism that Eade is Collingwood in September personified and sparking calls that St Kilda is unbackable in the GF.

            GF: Geelong v St Kilda
Geelong by 5 goals. Mooney v Baker make Lynch v Wakelin look like a lovefest. Gablett stars and then moves to the stars (geddit?). Riewoldt left in tears.
            10100111001 ;-)

Now that the swans are gone, I'm gunna have to prune my roses. I was supposed to do them in July.

              Who cares who wins?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Don't know about all this Dogs speculation.
They are crap. Really really really crap.
To me, it would be an absolute miracle if the were to even come within 30 points of the Saints this week, let alone the other two sides...

Absolutely gutted about our game but still going for Footscray in the finals now.

Footscray have been my so called "second" team ever since I got into football when I was 8(despite the fact that football was hardly heard of in Sydney except for us but it was dark days back then)

                    This ^^^^.

I'll probably go for the Pies now. Geelong are so damned cocky, I'd love to see them not even make the GF and I despise the Bulldogs and Saints fans. I know it sounds weird, but I've never had a problem with Collingwood fans.

Jewels you really need to get out more

As long as St. Kilda don't win it and Collingwood don't win it, I couldn't give a rats.

We are out, footy season as I know it is finished.

Got a ticket to the GF today thanks to the Old Man!, so my dream is either the Dogs or Saints pummelling the Pies, so I can watch the B&W army walk out of the MCG crying (aren't I just nice after a Semi loss)

Nightmare scenario will be witnessing a Collingwood premiership.

^^ Agree with CTS, St Kilda have nothing to worry about this week...

Geelong to beat the Saints by 4 in the grand final.
