    Season 2010 - Interstate Wins

And the nominations for best interstate win are:

    Round 2 - Adelaide
    Round 4 - North Melbourne
    Round 12 - Port Adelaide
    Round 16 - Carlton
    Round 20 - Fremantle
    Round 22 - Brisbane

Very hard to choose. Adelaide in Round 2 gets my vote, simply because they've been our bogey team for a long time now, and we stuck it up them in front of their home crowd.

Freo in Perth comes a very close second.

Freo game by far IMHO. While they were struggling a little with injuries and form at the time we played them, overall it was the most formidable ask going into the game, plus losing two players to injury, losing the lead and then fighting back to win make it the best of the year.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Freo. Because they think they're the up and coming team with lots of young talent whose premiership window is about to open, when we all know that's us.

Being an Adelaide based supporter I tossed up between the fabulous joy of creaming the Adel Cows in front of their adoring fans and the Freo win. Whilst the euphoria of beaing the Cows is great, in the cold light it has to be the Freo win, never easy to win in Perth and Freo were formidable opponents, just ask the Poos and Wees!

I said the Freo game as I thought we were superb that day, but I also thought our win against Carlton in Melbourne was fantastic, especially the first half where we pretty much ripped them a new one.

Freo. When have we Ever beaten Freo at that place! Also because they have a very good team, so that was important. First bestest. Followed by all the others.

The Adelaide win might seem kind of "meh" in hindsight, given how Adelaide's season turned out, but at the time, it was huge! We'd broken the drought against one of our two main bogey sides, at their home ground of all places. New recruit Benny McGlynn had a screamer. We were all over them. Champagne was popped all round. Definitely up there with the Freo win I reckon.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!
