4 gls down early in the last and only 3 goals scored by swans so far !

Blight suggests Hall into the ruck (I thought this was a walls quote every game)

            What a game.
With the 2005 GF must rate as the greatest game foe a Swans fan.
I can only imagine how great it was at the ground.

            Joy .... pure joy....

            Come on 2011

Baz is using this as inspiration for the Dogs I see "did it in 2005, can do it this year".

OMG I still wasnt sure if we would win, it did not look possible..... and Blighty kept saying it would not be possible unless we changed the whole structure around. Whatever you are doing these days Nick, I hope its going OK. Doesnt matter how many times they roll it, the result and your genius will always be remembered.

Saw Nick at the member acknowledgement day. He seemed well and happy. Same smartarse. Said it was nice to be at Balmain with Fossie as his coach "it's a bit unusual for me to get along with my coach". While Fossie told tales about Nick waiting for recognition when he kicked more goals than anyone else one game. Then Nick's daughter (2yo?) came along and was the centre of attention on stage: a real little ham "guess her heritage?" Fossie said before Nick claimed her.

I only kept the last 2 quarters - the first to cement just how awful we were without being too dramatic (3 quarters of hell is far to much) and knowing that its all gonna be ok in the last quarter, eventually......it doesn't have to take more than a few words if Kirky is providing them to snap someone into place....its a hell of a quarter, especially that rolling maul....b r i l l i a n t.

It's a bit like most movies I own pn DVD (which isn't many), I've never watched them, but when the movie is on TV I'll watch it everytime.
It's the lazy persons way of watching.

I like watching old games to see how much the rules and interpretations have changed. Hands in the back, HTB, chopping arms, hits to the head. Always reckon Plugger would have kicked twice as many goals if he played now!

I'm the reverse, if there is a movie on Tv that I have on DVD I wiould rather watch it on DVD, to avoid the ads.

On the 05 SF, I have the DVD set but have never watched the first 3 qrtrs again. I only watch the last. In fact I might watch it later today after seeing this thread.

I watch the last quarter of that game quite often off my DVD but like you I've never watched the first three quarters until last night. It was fascinating. The Cats did a great job of tackling throughout and nearly stole a win. In fact, watching the final quarter in context was a much richer experience than all my previous viewings of the last quarter alone.

Thank you Foxsports 1 - it was a whole new experience, five years on.
