I find this subject fascinating - AFL is a game that can use so many body sizes and types; and is such a combination of this sort of "tight" contest so that the free flowing and spectacular can happen.
Like many others, I have been so impressed with the tap-work of Pyke this year. He does seem able to direct the ball, rather than just bash and block.
