    Cheese and the lack thereof.

Is he worth anything? Maybe a fourth rounder just so he gets to where he is wanted?

Ill be sad to see him go, always hoped he was finally going to flick a switch and put it all together as a difficult to match up on forward.

Frustrating. Put me in mind of a blonder Dale Lewis (in terms of potential), except even Lewie got his act together and managed a fair few games.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Harsh to compare the 2. Lewis was a genuine gun, Barlow is a hack.

If we fraudulently claim that he is Michael Barlow's long lost brother maybe we can get a second round pick

Could have been anything with the right attitude as he has the attributes to make it at this level, but soft as at AFL level and frankly won't be missed.

Good news for the lactose intolerant among us.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                  Nice work, Ugg.

Sounds to me like there are others (well documented here) that will be having similar discussions with Horse.

That's a shame. I hoped that under a new coach he could emerge as a senior player. As it is, he won't have much value.

Could be just what he needs. He's clearly not living up to his potential here, for whatever reason. If it's just because he can't hack it, that won't change, but personally I hope he finds a happier home and comes along in leaps and bounds. Just not against us.

                        Such potential.

Can't say he wasn't given enough opportunities to show what he's got.. Sorry to see him go, but I can fully understand why.

I can understand as well. Sometimes you need a change. Perhaps it will pay off, perhaps it won't but he'll never know unless he moves on. It's definitely not working for him at the moment. Maybe a move to a club down in Melbourne could prove benefitial, if not only for the fact he probably won't have to take his shirt off at training that often.

Unfortunately a classic downhill skier. Still, it would be nice to get something for him and I hope he is able to find a home elsewhere.
