Should be hoping St Kilda get up tomorrow night then, if the Dogs somehow make it through I think we could see another record-breaking GF margin...

          Good grief.
Imagine if they had been that accurate all year.

I'm biting my tongue so hard it's bleeding, but good on them. They worked hard and deserved the win.

          Did Cameron Mooney cry???
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Sam Newman could have started his run/walk from Melbourne to Geelong in a Collingwood jumper at half time as it was evident that they were never going to get back in with a show. This was the bet he made on the footy show last Thursday following the epic journey that Shane Crawford undertook. I hope that the Dogs do get up as i cannot bring myself round to wanting the Pies or the Saints to be premiers.

As a friend of mine said re:watching Geelong get humiliatingly stomped, "it's hard to enjoy the schadenfreude when it's Collingwood that did it". If Ablett hasn't decided yet if he's heading to Gold Coast, I bet the decision has just been reached.

Yeah, I can't believe I'm going to cheer on a team with [insert alleged hushed-up-by-cops crime here]-ist, homophobic cretin Steven Milne in its ranks, but at least St Kilda have a chance at stopping C'wood. Blechhh, I feel soiled.

Like the rest of us, he can't bear the thought of living in Victoria with the Pies as reigning premiers?

I actually went to the game and found the noise created by 95K people to be unbelievable. It was a terrific atmosphere. There were more Collingwood supporters than Cats. In some ways the atmosphere was better than a GF because there probably weren't as many neutrals as there would be in a GF. I'll be tipping the Pies to win next weekend but hoping like hell that the Saints can get up. Either one former Swan or two former Swans will walk away with their second premiership medallion(s).
