Grand Final day - At the Alexandria Hotel....

If anyone's looking for a venue to watch the game at, I highly reccommend you try the Alexandria Hotel in (surprisingly), Alexandria.

Newly renovated (Partially), family friendly (As well as a bar where the adults can relax away from kids), and more importantly AFL obsessed. Multiple big screens so you won't miss a minute of the action.

Reasonabley priced meals and plenty of beers and wines on tap, in bottles and by the glass.

A short walk from Redfern station (Or Erskineville) if you want to have a few beers (or more).

P.S... If you look closely in the new VB ad with the dude trying to do the gay handshake with his mate, that's the Alexandria Hotel...

Could be "COPS L.A.C." (AKA Home and Away in a police station). They have been filming it around Port Botany and the airport.

Good gawd, there's a gay handshake? No one ever told me. Between not knowing that, and the fact that I don't own a single Madonna cd, no wonder I am shunned & ignored by my tribe. Oh well.

And I'm having a bbq tomorrow & watching the GF from home with friends anyway. Someday I'll make it to the Alexandria!

Tomorrow a whole bunch of Aussie expats are coming to the condo,,15th floor (thats the legal limit) .BBQ going on one balcony, BBQ Ribs,chicken,king size prawns) big screen GF inside. Heaps and Heaps of Singha Beer. No pies supporters present just disgruntled Cats supporters and reasonably satisfied Swans and nervous ST Kildas. After the game we move one floor up to the roof for continuation of heavy drinking around the pool with occassional falling in (must remember to leave my mobile downstairs) .If you happen to find yourself in Thailand,your welcome to join us! I'm not planning on being in Thailand tomorrow, but I am expecting a big night tonight, so who knows where I might wake up! If it's Thailand, I'll let you know, as that does sound like a pretty great day!
