    Chairman's tribute

    Sorry if this posted elsewhere...

Chairman's Tribute to Roos and Kirk - Official AFL Website of the Sydney Swans Football Club

Really great speech. Well done all at the Swans.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

I had forgotten that phrase; Emotional Equity in the Club.

That should be writ large on membership applications. That phrase explains just about everything!

It was a good speech - just tended to go on for a bit long though - but then he has to get alot said in a small amount of time on a action packed night. I even shed the odd tear when Kirky spoke, his poem at the end was just beautiful, and Roosy was as always entertaining but heartfelt..
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

A really well organised speech......a good read and it shows a great depth of thought and analysis

I agree, Satch. We joked about him going on a bit too long, but it was heartfelt.
