I wish they would play with our ball for once.....
    He's Irish. Says it all.

On another note, I will be at Croke Park for the second game (nothing outside cricket should be called a 'Test match'), and I can't wait. Haven't been to one home or away before.

They used to, but the Irish couldn't cope with it. It takes less skill to bounce a round ball.

Hard enough trying to kick the round ball into the hands, let alone trying it with an ellipsoid ball. I think using the round ball provides a more even contest. Using an ellipsoid would make the competition too one-sided. The rules are designed to give an even contest because ultimately this is just a game for fun with nothing major at stake.

He is such a knucklehead that he'd think "Free Tibet" is somewhere you can gamble without any commission.

I can't believe Ablett was deemed not get enough to get a guernsey..
Speaking of Ablett's, I wonder what's happening to Luke to these days.

It's not just good enough, but fit enough to play a game during the 8 week break (no nagging injuries to remedy), willing to travel and their aptitude with the round ball. I don't know the figures, but I would have thought Goodes, who played soccer till he was 13 or 14, would be a natural selection every year unless he was on the operating table.

Gary probably wanted to use his time off moving his life to Queensland and settling in, not flying halfway around the world for 3 weeks.

Last I heard Luke is still at Box Hill.
