I normally agree with most of your posts Jesse but on this we are on opposite sides of the fence. Bradshaw contributed more than White would of and if not for rusty kicking would have won us the game.

Also the thought of Bevan making a difference is in my mind laughable but I do admit a long term bias against Bevan so it would take more than a run of serviceable games (yes i admit he was ok towards the end of the year) for me to change my mind.

Form is form, he kicked 3, was dropped. I think he could have done a better job than Moore on Harbrow (must have got windburn from him) and created the odd play.

He would of also been more value than TDL against the dogs IMO, but its history, so is the season....roll on 2011

Don't get me wrong, I definitely agree that Bradshaw booted more goals than what White would have. So perhaps leave Jesse out of this at this stage.

I reckon Bevan was doing that pinchhitting forward pocket role better than Moore at the end of this season. So Moore should have been ommitted for the Bradshaw inclusion.

And Big Al as you have bias against Bevan, I have a positive bias towards Jesse and I just thought that giving him the experience to line up alongside Bradshaw in a final might have helped him finally turn the corner and would have been better for him and the club in the long term. Of course saying that, I had no further thought on who to omit to have kept Jesse in, which was most probably the reason for him being left out.

Certainly the Swans have benefited greatly in recent years in recruiting players in Bevan's situation. You can't knock a bloke for seeking more game time elsewhere, especially when the player believes they're performing in career-best form.

Let's face it, Bevo's "career best" form is below that of many others. Before the knives come out, I am on record for my thoughts on Bevans selection in the team at any time.

i'm preety sure roo's "spray" was directed at Mal.

anyways hindsight says Bevo should have played. He didn't get traded and we are heading for another "best preseason ever".

                      Can't wait :d

I'd insert ROK who was clearly injured. Whether Jesse should have been retained though is debatable.

                          Jeez.
Just when Bevo had started to come good.
I think this was a good year for Bevo (by Bevo standards). If duck-butt can put his hand up to go, stay; and then become club champion ... well, I hope for Bevo's sake, he has his career best ahead of him.
