Join The Ladies @ Sydney Swans at Club SWANS to relive all the fantastic moments we've shared with the Sydney Swans in Season 2010. Larissa,

You need to post these with much more notice. Mrs RP would of loved to of gone to this but the short notice is prohibitive. (And yes, well aware that it is probably on the Swans website but the fact of teh matter is we rarely use it because it's so poor).

      Thanks RP.

This one is actually not an event run directly by the Swans, but the Ladies @ Sydney Swans coeterie group. They asked me to post it up for them last week.

      Apologies for the late notice.

I actually think the website is 100% better this year..most info can be found there. It can be exasperating..sometimes when you try to find some current player info , it will produce every guy who ever played for us, but without much data on each. But the addition of an experienced , full time media person in2010 has made an appreciable difference.Keep it up Jenny!

+1. I'd even go so far as to say 200% improvement. So good to have the Swans' players doing articles, the reviews of the season etc. Something new posted almost every day. Prior to 2010 season it wasn't worth bothering to look at.

One possible further improvement for me would be the reports on the Ressies games. The reports from R & W reporters are far superior, as are twitter reports. We fans who don't live in Sydney really appreciate hearing how the up and coming players are developing.

+3. I check in most days. It's become a very good site.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

As far as content goes, the AFL and team websites are fantastic. Unforunately, they are slow, unreliable and difficult to navigate, courtesy of the BigPond. Scrap the BigPond connection, and the sites will be perfect.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

That may be your problem...I have no difficulty through my Optus connection.

No, I mean the fact that the website is hosted by BigPond, who couldn't organise a screw in a brothel, let alone getting the videos they put up to work on a consistent basis, or preventing their flash content from lagging and crashing at every opportunity.

                        What he said....

I have nothing against the content per se but the crap Bigpond format and it's generally appalling speed make and usability it one of my "top avoided" web sites.....
