    Cryptic clue

Nice work from the DA cryptic crossword in today's Herald that I thought I'd share.

3 down: Ecstasy symptom Ben Cousins disguised? (10)

See how you go. Nice to see Ben's notoriety stretches to the crossword nerd world.

Very much love hate with DA. Tend to stay awayfrom his Fridays which push the boundaries of solvability and stick to his Saturdays

DA is "twisted" for sure, but challenging.

(DS does Saturday, Ugg, my second favourite for the week.)

Apologies, I must have mixed them up.

But if you're in Melbourne you get DS on Fridays and DA on Saturday. The Age decided to go its own way, despite howls of protest from the solvers.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

SMH tried that earlier this year I think it lasted about 2 weeks before they bowed to the pressure of the complaints of readers who didn't want to solve a DA for a prize

                      I didn't realise that, dimelb.

Ugg is right, it was tried here and the protestors won. Obviously the prize made a difference to some.
