We Won by seven points!!!! Up the mighty Aussies! Sets it up for the second game next week, which I will be at.

Captain Goodesy only had seven touches, but kicked four overs - crucial in a low scoring game. Macca had 19 possessions and Crackerjack 10 for us, while Tadhg had 20 touches and one behind and Brendan Murphy had 18 possies for the other mob.

        AUSTRALIA 0.14.5 47

        Goals: Nil.
Overs: Adam Goodes 4, Todd Banfield 2, Eddie Betts 2 (two kicks), Daniel Cross 2, Leigh Montagna 2, Patrick Dangerfield, James Frawley.
Behinds: Matthew Boyd 2, Kade Simpson 2.

"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
