2010 Rate the Season: #3 Jarrad McVeigh

    Macca, Macca, Macca.

I gave you a six. Just above average.
I had such hopes for you after your killer 2008.
At least you're still better than your brother.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I gave a 7 for that handpass to Jesse White when sitting on your a$$ against Freo.

I gave a seven, although my first thoughts were six. then I remembered just how much of the drive out of the centre was initiated, orchestrated, organised by one Macca! Its not flash, but its work work work. So Six points for game time, and One point for work ethic (or the other way round, whichever).

7 - not outstanding, not terrible. I expected a lot more from him this year but it just didn't seem to eventuate.

6 Pretty much what Aardvark said. He needs to play 4 quarters, then again his tank might not be as big as first thought. That game at the G when he had a blinder first half and didn't get a sniff thereafter.

I gave him a 6 - I thought he was going to step up into the big-time this year. Still reckon he could, but he was too inconsistent.

IMHO must have been carrying some sort of injury I suspect. Was #1 for clearances up until the half way point of the season, then mainly played outside/half forward with much less impact. Scored an 7 for the first half, and 5 for the rest of the season = 6.

Should be the happiest man on the Swans list moving into 2011.

Always seems to pickup the hard tag, but with the rise of other Swans may have an easier coming year.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

                        6. Was fairly good for much of the season, but I expected more.

Agree with Bloody Hell. The improvement of our younger midfielders, such as Jack and Hanners, will hopefully mean that Jarrad will receive less tags.

Having been on the receiving end of these comments in the past "Ouch"!!!! All that made me do was flip over and do less as I had already been busting a gut for nothing!

6.... And lucky to get it.

The only thoroughbred in our midfield of Cortina's and he simply wasn't good enough this year. Was outshone by the younger brigade in a big way. Needs to lift big time.
