Certainly does. An interesting read, mainly because Lewis II shares with the readers his concerns about where he is, and gives a clear picture of what it's like to be under the microscope. I like the attitude that comes across, and it sounds as if he's the sort of recruit who's prepared to add hard work to talent. Even on the little I've seen, I reckon he has the talent; if he approaches the work like this, we can look forward to season 2011.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Its certainly his time. Make or break this year IMO.
from memory on the video Lewis Johnston let it slip he did 11min 40 sec last year and this year 11 min even...........not bad for a tall HF young fella !
The order of finishing is as per below : Good effort by Meredith as he did his PB which is never easy at the beginning of pre season...........and I would have hoped that Sumner might have been up there but not to be ~
Gordon, Blake Guthrie, Brett Meredith, Dylan McNeil, Lewis Johnston, Trent Dennis-Lane, Nathan Kenny, Daniel Currie, Gary Rohan, and then Byron Sumner.
Got a good feeling with Nipper - looking forward to seeing him in the trials and see if his skills are up............has the potential to tag in the future

According to a friend who was involved with him at U18 level, Johnston has real talent, knows how to find the footy but the query was on his attitude. Injuries haven't helped since he has been with us but looks like he has matured and now realises what is needed to make the grade at AFL level. I think he can be exciting for us from this season on.
