I wouldn't play White or Everitt in round 1 unless they have an extremely spectacular pre-season. I'd be definitely looking at both Seaby and Mummy if they're both fit although that means Pyker would probably miss out. I say stick with predominantly the same basic 22 as this year (although obviously C Bolt would have to come back in if he's fit and of course Kirky out).
      Red & White forever.

The thought of this occurring, with all three at full power, gives me shivers (good ones). I hope we get to see it.

Smith would be one of the first picked IMO, very important role. seem to remember ressie watchers saying he is a real ball winner too so moving away from tagging into an offensive role is on the cards.

Given his strong late season development, I can't see Jack being used as a tagger any more.

Shaw did some excellent shut down jobs for us so maybe he will be one of our main taggers this year?

Everitt wouldn't have been promised walk up games, he still has to earn his spot but the coaches will try to find a role for him to concentrate on early.

I can. Opposition coaches know what KJ is now capable of, and will be giving him a hard tag. This could see KJ used as a tagger in an attempt to shake his (Jack's) tag.
This could see McVeigh get a little bit more freedom, just enough to take his "good" game to a consistently "great" game.

Look, I know that Rohan's good, but not good enough to play two positions at once.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                    New guys

                    what about the new guys

Surely there is room for Spida Jnr and also Tom (Son of Barry) Mitchell.

We don't get Mitchell until 2012.

If Bradshaw is at CHF don't expect his knee to last too long. A good CHB will run him off his feet. To mind he is a goal sneak and nothing else in his current physical state. We need him close to the goals at all times and a defender would be wary of running off him there.

Mitchell is still in nappies, in an AFL sense. Itzy wasn't getting gigs full time at the dogs, so he may not be ready for planting in the fertile soil of the scg just yet......patience, patience.

I don't understand all the love for White and so little love for Johnston on this thread.
White was continually disappointing last season and whilst I know Johnston has had more than his fair share of injury concerns, all pre-season reports so far have him very keen and eager to prove himself.
He'd be in my starting 22 way before White.
