Because he didn't put in enough when he was playing in the reserves to displace anyone.

    Simple really - effort=return..

If he were smart, he would have waited until Veszpremi has completed even a single training session with the Dogs, let alone play a game of footy, before commenting.

What is his view on why Everitt wasn't getting a game with the Dogs?

It's a pretty innocent comment that he's obviously offered up when asked on a radio show, though. It's not unreasonable to expect that footy players are into footy and will share wild opinion as we do.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Agreed, Liz. It sounds as if he's just parrotting something Hall said.

"jh's" comment underneath sums it up quite amusingly.

                Talk about dog bites man.

Alert me when you see the "Senior player can't believe spuds recruiters traded high picks for" headline.

Don't really see an issue with what he said. A fair few Swans fans have said similiar things.

He might need a follow up story "I now see why he didn't make it at the Swans" one day, but who knows!

Hey, I hope he plays against us. Used to love watching him play but this year I got sick of watching him demand the ball at every opportunity when he was under pressure no matter how many better options there were, and then getting the ball and either spilling it or passing it to someone else also under pressure then demanding it back again. I used to get breathless watching him running in circles and yelling.

And I hope he does well at the Dogs with Bazza, but not too well, of course.

He's got h.o.t. bedroom eyes. Unfortunately, that's not enough to get a gig in the seniors.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Possibly a gig with Jon Pumper though.
Never mind Annie we still have young Reg to look at

yeah because i'm sure players have no idea about players from other teams, its not like they study videos of opponents, watch games on tv, know them socially, or actually play against them .

I'm not sure what his view is on Everitt because he obviously wasnt asked that question by the journalist.
